Catbird's acclaimed multi-platform web documentary Burgundy Jazz has been nominated for both a Webby Award and a Numix Award today.

Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Burgundy Jazz is nominated in the category for Best Online Film and Video (Music), up against interactive projects about Arcade Fire and Daft Punk. The Webbys present two honours in every category — The Webby Award and The Webby People's Voice Award. The Prix Numix honours excellence in Quebec digital media. Burgundy Jazz is nominated for Best Documentary Web Television. The awards will be handed out in Montreal on May 15, 2014.
