A Time to Swim gets Special Jury Mention at the Montreal First People’s Festival

We are delighted to announce that A Time to Swim, a film by Ashley Duong, received a Special Jury Mention for the Séquences Award for Best Documentary at the Montreal First People's Festival on August 7, 2017.

According to the Jury:  "Pour son incursion anthropologique, par le biais d’un retour au pays natal dans l'univers du peuple Kelabit en Asie du Sud-Est, pour sa vive cinématographie captant les dissensions causées dans une communauté par le prix à payer pour la défense des droits face à l'industrialisation, une mention est décernée à Ashley Duong pour A Time to Swim (Québec, Canada)"
